B ut, here, we are in the presence of an absence - in other words, of an obj ect co ntrary to obj ectivity. In actual fact, if t i m e i s no m o re , i f i t i s disappearing into i t s acceleration, INSTA B I LITY is brought to a head , and the moment o f i ne rtia of interactive CO N N ECTION dominates, on all sides now, the inertia of P LAC E S , the i ne rtia of fixi ty as well as of i m m o b i l i ty .
H annah Arendt put it forcefully: ' Instabili ty is a fu nctio nal prerequisite o f total domi nation. Well, what can we say about the instab ility of the i nstantaneity of real time? Are we going to have to l ive (su rvive) , to mo rrow, under the dominati on of a sort of tribunal d 'instance, a court that would rule o n the i nstant ? On thi s tyranny o f time or, rather, lack of time, involved in the exodus of free will and democracy, with everyone afected by an instab ility at once psycho- and loco-motive due to our hypermotivity - in other words to our loss of control over our vital reflexes? For, by then these will be co nditio ned by the flows, the inflows, of a cybernetic environment that will soo n be uninhabitable.
