The experience of temporal systems changes with one's situation in life, and the perception of time becomes a dependent variable. In a situation in which there have to be frequent changes between different jobs, situations in life and spheres of life, the decisive standpoint of individual orientations also changes more easily. And yet, in such a situation in life and at work, marked by deep temporal uncertainty, the desire grows all the more powerfully to have the right of disposal and possession of something which itself has to remain available: proper time.
