B ut, here, we are in the presence of an absence - in other words, of an obj ect co ntrary to obj ectivity. In actual fact, if t i m e i s no m o re , i f i t i s disappearing into i t s acceleration, INSTA B I LITY is brought to a head , and the moment o f i ne rtia of interactive CO N N ECTION dominates, on all sides now, the inertia of P LAC E S , the i ne rtia of fixi ty as well as of i m m o b i l i ty .
H annah Arendt put it forcefully: ' Instabili ty is a fu nctio nal prerequisite o f total domi nation. Well, what can we say about the instab ility of the i nstantaneity of real time? Are we going to have to l ive (su rvive) , to mo rrow, under the dominati on of a sort of tribunal d 'instance, a court that would rule o n the i nstant ? On thi s tyranny o f time or, rather, lack of time, involved in the exodus of free will and democracy, with everyone afected by an instab ility at once psycho- and loco-motive due to our hypermotivity - in other words to our loss of control over our vital reflexes? For, by then these will be co nditio ned by the flows, the inflows, of a cybernetic environment that will soo n be uninhabitable.

C i rcuit, sho rt-ci rcuit - let's go b ack now to the ci rcl e, the kuklos, and th i s ci rcu lar particle accelerator, the CYCLOTRON , which is at the origi ns of nuclear physics, havi ng been invented at Berkeley in the early 1930s and wh ich suddenly, in 2009 , turned into an underground CAT H E D RAL, the temple of an accelerating epic science launched in quest o f ' G od's particl e' , this HAD RO N that i s still m i ssing fro m the collections of the savants of contemporary physics .
N ote fi rstly that the cosm othe ist venture in question started, beneath the roots of the tree of knowledge of J udeo-Ch ristian genesis, with the origi nal accident, the b reak-down of a ' real i tyaccelerator' that was supposed to discover, at the end of a tunnel , the infinitesimal particle at the o rigi ns of astrophysics . All this sho ul d alert us to the megal omania of a science deprived of a critical conscience and coupled with a so rt of megaloscopy o f the infini tely smal l , whereby the LARGE HADRON COLLIDER of Geneva claims to reveal - live - the creation of the wo rld, no less, at the o bvious risk o f procreating a ' black hole' - of low amplitude , they say, no doubt to reassure u s about the risks b e i ng run .

Th ose risks have sparked legal proceedings instituted by su nd ry American physicists and other theorists of chaos, such as O tto Rossler from G o ttingen University, against their C E RN colleagues.
I n this 'speedway' where the landscape is the lack of a landscape , the exodus of the speed ofl ight actually leads to a crash of reason, of ' common sense' . What then surges up , ex abrupto, is the Accident in Time triggered by a physics that is now the victim of a coma afecting all knowledge acquired here below.
An accident in substances, an accident in distances, an accident in knowledge. In the end, Rimbaud was right: 'We've got it back. What? Eternity . ' I ndeed, i f time is d isapp ear i ng co mpletely as an adj ustment variable necessary to the space of the NAN OWO RLD that surro unds us, the eternal present o f relativism will soon reign supreme as of righ t, to the detri ment of the cu mberso me p rocesses of H isto ry.

I t is odd , all the sam e , to see that though the astrophysi cists of exo b iology appear to believe in universal l i fe spread througho ut outer space, they still refuse to b el ieve in l i fe eve rl asting!
'0 ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky, b u r can ye not discern the signs o f the times?' (M atth ew 1 6 : 3) . This ph rase o f C h ri st ' s see m s to be di rected at today' s global climate change ecologists who strangely leave o ut grey ecology, the sudden reten tion of spacetime, the temporal co mpression of the common world, even as those cosmologists who are devotees of the B IG BANG envisage , most concretely, the hypothesis of the B IG C RUN C H , the final contraction of the expanding U niverse.
Fifteen b illion years ago, according to the late B elgian astro nomer-physicist abbe Lemaitre, Russian cosmologist-physicist G eorge G amow and company, there would have been a deflagration of the p ri m o rdial ato m , triggering the exp ansion of a b ubble that was to keep growing all the way alo ng an - astra-hi storical - continuum right up to the B IG CRUNCH - the implosion and crash of the Time B arrier. B ut today we' re fo rced to report that i n the ir quest to discover the very first second of the creation of the Un iverse, our savvy astro nomers o f the vastness of outer space seem particularly anxious about the infinitesimal duration of the initial i nstant . 1

Th at quest fi rst gave us the cyclotron; then the US laboratory F ERM I LAB b uilt a six-kilometre atomic racetrack known as the TEVAT RO N ; and now, finally, we have Europe's LARG E HADRON CO LLI D ER, 27 kilometres long. The name is sign ificant si nce we've gone from the invention of the ACCELERATOR - linear then ci rcular - to the CO LLI D ER, the impact study of the speed of l ight concluding with the spectacular smashing of the Time B arrier!
A fine illustration of the accident to end all accidents i n this b rand o f time which certain physici sts are asking us to forget co mpletely - Copernican astronomy of the 'telescop ic' origins of the conquest o f space leadi ng, in G eneva, to the ' telescop i ng' , the maj o r collisi o n , of the end of time!

S cience, the B IG SC IENCE of physics, is not, i n actu al fact, at p eace with i tsel f. It i s at war wi th t i m e : ' the stately slowness of d u ratio n , the m ovi ng wo nder of every hour' , is the way Impressionism and its phenomenologists p ut it, Claude M onet among the m . In so doing, between 1899 and 1901 , they prefigured the theory o f relativity, Alb ert Ei nstein's theory about point of view. M onet, the man who pai nted the celeb rated 'S eries' even decreed that: EVERYTHING CHANGES, EVEN STO N E , thereby fo recasting t h e emergence of kinematic energy alongside kinetic energy. The Lumiere B rothers would develop ki nematic energy more fully, thereby anticipating the mutatio ns, in the twentieth century, of the multifractal spacetime of which M andelb rot - that other impressionist! - would become the secular prophet.
B ut let's go back once more to the Geneva temple, this cyclind rical Plato's cave, where the ill uminists of the Last D ay keep the flame of Progress alive beh i nd the ' scientific truth that Ei nstei n , that apostle o f general relativi ty, abhorred.

I t really is weird the way the significance of such a camera obscura, this cathedral crypt buried beneath the border between two countries, has never got our savants th inki ng, with the exception of those mentio ned above. H ow can it be that such an edifice, the cost of wh ich comes close to the b illions lost by a certain trader who had the media in a tizz fo r quite a few months in 2010, only ever attracted the sarcastic remarks of scientific popularizers targeting anyo ne who might be worried about it, j ust as the great b reakdown that crowned the CERN collider' s u nveiling was met only with silence on the part of adm irers of epic science ?
The damage done by COSMOTH EISM here matches the damage done by a form of fanati cal sun worship in which the accelerating speed of l ight illumi nates h istory, i n anticipation of h u m a n sacri fices quite diferent from the people who got burned in astronomical financial investments, for the edification of these temples o f ill usion - like the one recently proposed fo r Beij ing. Th is one will be ' an i n ternational l i n ear col lider' and, to p ur i t i n a nutshe l l , i t will b e al l i e d to the crash tests of an automob ile industry in crisis, i nside the little cubbyhole of a NANOWO RLD where the wo rld's ecological footprint now leads, directly, to the integral accident in public finances . . .

I n the same vei n , in 2010 China made a conspicuous entrance in second place in the S upercomputer Top 500 List, j ust beh i nd the Un ited States, thanks to a motor named N E B U LAE. Its performance benchmark is 1 . 27 petaflops, which translates as the capacity to efect 1 . 27 million b illion operations per second, whereas J aguar, the co mputer in the US Energy D epartment in Tennessee, can achieve 1 . 75 petaflops. Forecast for 2020 is a 'great accelerator calculator' that wi ll be able to attai n an exoflop - o r a billion b il l i o n operat i o n s per seco n d .
We might remember that these motors are used in scientific research , in genetic sequenci ng, b u t especially in the strategic domain touching on national sovereignty. 1
Acco rding to the specialists, the field of application of supercomputing never stops getti ng b igger. S o , geophysicists today are able to p redict, in real time, the aftershocks that follow an earthquake.2 On the other hand, they are currently unable to anticipate the fatal consequences of a CYBERCRASH of great magnitude afecting the whole of the financial system . Yet, it's only too easy to foresee that the automation involved in high-frequency flash trading will lead, tomorrow, to the INTEGRAL ACCIDENT in very-highfrequency high finance!

I n this endless race, the future G reat P rofit Collider will no doub t lead to the discovery, right at the end of the tunnel of History, of the 'p rimo rdial atom' of stocks, for a financial industry in the process of accelerated automation and this, to the detriment of financial agents who are so incredibly unscrupulous and dangerous, as proved by ' Kafka's Trial' - sorry, that was Kerviel, the guilty trader from French bank, Societe generale.
According to both the Times and the Daily Telegraph, reporting in mid-September 2008 , one of the four detectors in CERN's Grear Collider was broken into by intruders who successfully hacked into the LARGE HARDON COLLIDER's comp uter network as early as Wednesday 8 September, the day Geneva's underground cathedral was oficially set in motion. We might also recall that on 22 September, the newspaper
